Countdown to Christmas Breakfast

I love making memories for my kids.  I have so many fond memories of little things my parents did for my sister and I growing up.  Those are the things that make childhood so special.  Those, "I remember my mom always did this" moments.  So, this year, after TOTAL inspiration from Jessica, at Little Pumpkin Grace, I decided we had to have our First Annual Countdown to Christmas Breakfast.  We did it the day after Thanksgiving and it was a fun way to bring out Apple, our Elf on the Shelf.

We had powdered donuts and hot cocoa with "snowballs".  The kids were in heaven.  Apple wrote each of the kiddos their own personal note, reminding them to be extra good because she was watching for Santa.  She brought a few treats too!

LOVE, LOVE these sweet little faces!

Christmas Catch Up

How is it that the holidays have already passed?  I feel like this year was the fastest Christmas ever!  Every year, we host two big parties, our kids Christmas party and the girls birthday party in January.  I look forward to these two parties all year long.  They are so much fun to plan and even more fun to attend.

Last year we did a Crafty Christmas Party with lots of fun Christmas Crafts for the kids so this year, I decided to switch it up some and do a Breakfast with Santa.  The kids all came in PJ's and Santa was with us all morning.

My invite set the tone for the whole morning.  I LOVE vintage and when I found this little Santa, I knew he would make the whole theme!

Pinterest was a wealth of inspiration for party ideas! We had milk and cookies, a hot cocoa bar and lots of fun finger food type breakfast treats for the kids and moms!

I think the most special part of the day was the looks on the kids faces when Santa walked in.  They couldn't believe it. I had a little gift for him to pass out to each child and then they had tons of time for photos.

Was a fun day for everyone and a tradition we will do every year!  (Even Momma got her pic with Santa)

Catching Up!

I am still trying to catch up on all the blog posts that I should have been writing during the holidays.  From Halloween to NYE was such a whirlwind with Cupcakes and Lemonade, family stuff and the girls.  At 5, 5 and 3, their social calendar is already so full.  I can't imagine what it will be like when they are teenagers!

We had so many things going on for Halloween, but I still wanted to do a little something, just us girls at home.  My parents were visiting and it was the perfect time to have our Happy Halloween Breakfast.  I had so much fun putting the table together.  For decorations, I just pulled from my Halloween stash and mostly used things I had around the house.

I have literally had this scrapbook paper for years.  Nice to finally use it.  Just cut, wrapped around juice boxes and attached a printable from our Halloween collection.  Easy and so cute!

A few fun treats to open, a new outfit to wear for the Halloween party at school and, I promise, we didn't have all sweets for breakfast.  There was fruit and pumpkin shaped pancakes.

These sweet little surprised faces made it all worthwhile!!

Busy, busy.........

One thing that makes this lady happy is being so busy!  Thanks so much to all of my wonderful customers who have kept me up late night and up early the next morning.  I LOVE it!

I had so many fun events and parties to post about over the holidays and just never seemed to find the time to post about any of them.   I am going to try to play catch up, so bare with me.  I know Valentines has just passed, but I have Halloween, Christmas and lots of amazing customer parties to share!

Back in November, I hosted a shower for my SIL and her new baby boy.  Zachary was born in January and is OH SO CUTE!  We chose to do the Little Man theme and now that I have seen his sweet face, he is definitely a "little man."

Zachary's nursery has plaids, blues and reds so, that gave me the inspiration for the design for the invitation and all the party printables.  We had so many yummy desserts and lots of fun celebrating the arrival of this little man.  The full collection is listed in my shop now!

And right before Christmas, my good friend's sweet little boy turned one.  It was quite the celebration!  His mommy loves to plan parties just as much as I do.  We had so much fun working on this one.

Here is the invitation I designed to set the mood for the whole party.  This is the digital pic, but the actual invitation was so cute.  Lots of sparkle!

Guests were welcomed in from the cold with a hot chocolate bar.  Lots of yummy choices!

The dessert table was full of fun treats.  The kids had a blast here!

We did a banner with monthly pictures of Aiden to show how much he has grown.
To keep the kiddos busy, there was a balloon artist.  They were just amazed!

Blowing out the candles!  How sweet is he?  He knew exactly what to do with that cake!  Happy Birthday Aiden!!

Both collections are in my shop!!
